Me and my partner are hoping to come to GC next year - we are already putting things into motion, but the biggest obstacle seems to be our dogs. We have a German Sheapard and a lab. The only info i can find is through specialist companies, and they are talking 3k plus to fly them out - does anyone know of a cheaper alternative, and does anyone else have pets there. My partner is worried that the heat will be too much for them.

Hi, the heat is not really a problem. I have dogs and when it gets too hot they just head for the shade! There are huskies, Newfoundlands and many other hairier dogs than yours - so don't worry about that. Shipping dogs though is expensive, but it shouldn't be 3K, check Iberia and the scheduled airlines as you can bring dogs with them in the hold. Some people who bring their car even drive to Barcelona, ship their car from Barcelona and bring their dog on an internal flight, but importing a car is not for the faint hearted!
